Christmas is in sight

I just heard that in a few days, it’s someone big’s birthday, and everyone is giving each other presents, including me! The best part is that every present is totally surrounded in pretty, CRINKLY paper! I CAN’T WAIT!!

For those interested, here’s a list of what foods Penelope’s into lately:

Rice cereal

Apples

Bananas

Pears

Squash

Peaches

Sweet peas

Carrots

Avocado

Sweet potato

She also likes drinking apple juice and white grape juice, and tried a teething biscuit for the first time the other day.

Penelope’s now a pro at pulling herself up to a standing position, taking a few steps along a supporting chair or table (every once in a while), and boogie-oogie-oogie-ing til she just can’t boogie no more. (Boogie.) She is trying to climb up on things, and can clap pretty well now (it was silent when she started about a week ago, but now it’s audible).
